The World Games, first held in 1981, are an international multi-sport event, meant for sports, or disciplines not found in the Olympic Games. The World Games are organised and governed by the International World Games Association (IWGA), under the patronage of the International Olympic Committee (IOC). In July 2009 the games were held in Kaohsiung, the second biggest city of Taiwan, located in the south of the Island.  A chiropractic organization, FICS (International Sports Chiropractic Federation ) has an agreement with the IWGA to provide chiropractic services to the athletes during the games. I was selected to be a member of the chiropractic team. Overall it was a great experience and the Taiwanese people were extremely helpful to the athletes and the supporting staff.
